The StrEat Maginhawa food park, known for its various container food stalls, has made its way to the south, and it’s just along the Tagaytay-Sta. Rosa road!
The place, called South StrEat: Gourmand Container Park, has over 20 food stalls that offer different kinds of food. It had its soft opening just last February 18, 2017.
Upon entering, we can’t help but notice its aesthetic design: a combination of pastel colors and beach feels, which according to their facebook page, was inspired by the Miami beach and Memphis Milano designs.
From the various food stalls, we ordered the Taqueria Nachos (₱195) of Plaza de Taqueria: Mexican Cantina for our appetizer. The plate had a generous amount of tortilla chips, topped with tomatoes, ground beef, cheese sauce, and hot sauce.

Also on Plaza de Taqueria’s menu were Enchilada (₱150) and Quesodilla (₱95). They even have an option to Build Your Own Burrito (₱240).
For our drink, we had Squeezed’s refreshing Blue lemonade that was served in a fishbowl (₱140).

They also had freshly squeezed lemon (₱55) and orange (₱60); as well as Dalandan, Four Seasons, Pink Lemonade, and Cucumber Lemonade flavors to be served either in a single pack (₱45), fishbowl, or in a pail with nitrogen (₱180).
After the delicious appetizer we had, we tried Rockin’ Ribs’ Delicious Duo (₱320), composed of a slice of hickory-smoked rib and a leg quarter chicken with two cups of rice and two side dishes, which was already good for two.
The meat was so tender and had a smoky flavor that went so well with the sauce and rice (me, being an Asian).
To name a few, Rockin’ Ribs also offers solo rib plate (₱199), solo chicken plate (₱150), and the Rockin’ Ribs Party (₱1,499) which was good for 7-9 persons.
We’ve been eyeing One Potato Two Potato’s stall ever since we arrived.
We ordered their Salted Egg Potato chips (₱160). It had a nice salted egg flavor to it, like Irvin’s Salted Egg chips from Singapore. The other variant, called the Chicharrones (₱160), had bits of chicharon (pork rind) mixed with potato chips.
There were also other food stalls available like the Foxtrot & Echo (burgers), Juan Sago (Pinoy palamig), Hafa x Loha (Guam and Hawaiian cuisine), CrazyTella (Nutella Dessert Shack), and many more.
South StrEat: Gourmand Container Park is open 4pm – 11pm everyday and is located at the Everest Sky Pitch, along Sta. Rosa – Tagaytay Road, Puting Kahoy, Silang, Cavite, near Concha’s Restaurant.
